TE HIKU TELEVISION is a community based television station serving those living in the Far North region. It has over 8 hours of local programming per day starting with its famous Breakfast Shows from 7 to 9 week-mornings (repeated in the evenings), to its Tipi Haere, local documentaries, and community events.
With an estimated 45,000 viewers in the Far North and surrounding regions, with different programmes targeted at a general population which reflects our community.
TE HIKU TELEVISION also provides production services and facilities for major broadcasting companies including TVNZ, Maori Television, and TV3.

How can you be involved?
TE HIKU TELEVISION encourages community groups and individuals to send in their own film footage from their service, whanau or community events. So long as filming footage adheres to the Broadcasting Standards (refer to www.bsa.govt.nz) and meets our simple criteria, TE HIKU TELEVISION will consider broadcasting it on TV.
